The date of the next episode of Who Do You Think You Are?, starring comedian Paul Merton, has been moved.
Instead of airing on Mondays like the other episodes in the series, Merton’s episode of the popular family history series will be broadcast on Wednesday 28 August at 9pm on BBC One.
The change allows the BBC to show a period drama double bill on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Poldark series finale will be broadcast at 8.30pm on BBC One, followed by the second episode of hit gangster drama Peaky Blinders.
Merton’s Who Do You Think You Are? episode promises to have plenty of drama of its own.
The comedian and Have I Got News For You team captain will investigate the mysterious death of his Irish grandfather, who he was told was lost at sea.
He also discovers another ancestor who made a living performing as a musician - and was arrested for committing an assault with a banjo.
